1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Timeliness Shipping JA & Courier Services, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Timeliness Shipping JA & Courier Services provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping from USA to Jamaica

  • Air Freight Services

  • Weekly Shipping Services

  • Package Handling & Warehousing

  • Pickup & Delivery Options across Jamaica

  • Delivery via third-party courier services (e.g., Knutsford, Zipmail, etc.)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

We offer weekly shipping services from the USA to Jamaica.

All shipping schedules are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs processing

  • Airline or carrier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Government inspections

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

4. Service Areas

Our primary operations include:

  • Jamaica-wide delivery (selected areas)

  • Pickup locations will be communicated upon package arrival

Deliveries outside our direct service areas may be completed through third-party courier services at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Timeliness Shipping JA & Courier Services assumes limited liability for loss, damage, or delay.

Responsibility begins when:

  • The package arrives at our warehouse

Responsibility ends when:

  • The package is handed over to the customer or third-party delivery service

We are not responsible for:

  • Errors made by online vendors

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before reaching our warehouse

  • Delays or damages caused by airlines, customs, or third-party couriers

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors or customers.

Fragile items (including but not limited to):

  • Electronics

  • Glass

  • Liquids

  • Appliances

are shipped at the customer’s own risk, regardless of packaging.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must comply with all local and international shipping laws.

Prohibited items include:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item will be confiscated or reported to authorities without refund.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties

  • Taxes

  • Government fees

Timeliness Shipping JA & Courier Services is not liable for customs delays, inspections, or seizures.

9. Payments

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Cash

  • Bank Transfer

  • Online Payment

All payments must be made in full before delivery or processing.

All payments are non-refundable once shipment processing begins.

10. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your package.

Claims must be submitted via:

  • Official email or claim form

Supporting documents may include:

  • Receipts

  • Photos of damaged items

WhatsApp messages do NOT constitute official claims.

11. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Customers will be notified when packages arrive.

  • Packages not collected within 5 days may incur storage fees

  • Storage fee: $500 JMD per day

Packages uncollected after 30 days may be:

  • Sold

  • Donated

  • Disposed of

to recover costs.

12. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance where applicable.

Fees may apply.

We reserve the right to cancel services at our discretion.

13. Amendments

Timeliness Shipping JA & Courier Services reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the full agreement between Timeliness Shipping JA & Courier Services and the customer.
